Michelle Peña is an Functional Health Coach, speaker, and Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Rise RX Fitness in East Texas.
She works with high-performing women who look successful on the outside but feel depleted underneath. Women who are navigating gut dysfunction, hormone shifts, chronic stress, and nervous system dysregulation while still carrying full lives and full leadership roles.
She helps women restore sustainable energy, vitality, and confidence by addressing physiology at the root. Not by chasing symptoms or by pushing harder, but by guiding women through a structured process that stabilizes the nervous system, metabolism, gut, and hormones in the right order, so success no longer comes at the expense of health.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing along with advanced certifications as an Integrative Health Practitioner and Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. For more than two decades she has worked in health and wellness while building and operating fitness businesses and guiding women through comprehensive functional health coaching.
A life-altering accident brought Michelle face to face with what years of pushing through had cost her, deepening her understanding of strength, stress, and recovery, and cementing the conviction at the core of her work: discipline is not the solution to dysregulation.
Today, through Wellness with Michelle, she combines functional lab testing, targeted nutrition, nervous system regulation, and lifestyle strategy to help women understand the underlying drivers of their symptoms and create real, lasting change.
Her work is rooted in clinical training and faith, meeting women where they are and walking with them toward steady, resilient health.
On stages and in her coaching programs, Michelle is known for honest storytelling and a willingness to name what high achievers often feel but rarely say out loud. Her mission is to help women work with their bodies instead of against them, restoring stability, expanding capacity, and reclaiming the vibrant, purpose-filled lives they were created to live.
